My 1st time here and our 1st impression was a good one. The food was very good, fresh and we encountered friendly staff. The restaurant was clean. We had to wait approximately 5 minutes on a Saturday midday. Eurelia -our server was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and continuously checked-on us. We had plenty of food and the coffee wasn't strong like other places that you need to downed in 1/2 and 1/2 milk. We look forward to coming back in the future. Keep up the good service!
Food was excellent as we are first timers here we didn't know what to expect but we will definitely be back! I ordered the volcano breakfast plate which was so filling I had plenty to share and take home for later. Jaysen our server was a attentive and helpful during our dinning experience. Restaurant ambience was calm, clean, and interesting layout to find black bears all around. Will definitely be back!

Jaysen was very nice and gave great service. We enjoy Black Bear and have it once the weekends. They always been very helpful and kind.
We love coming here for the best food and service. We've had Carmen multiple times as our server and she is always so attentive in providing the best customer service, always asking if everything is good, and if we need anything else. So far she's our favorite waitress at BBD. Food on the other hand is always so delicious, great taste and huge portions. We try to visit this place at least twice a month and it always is our best choice for breakfast or dinner
In summary, it is a restaurant that is cheap, fast, and has decent taste. When you are tired after work and don't feel like cooking at home, you can eat a light dinner. One of the good restaurants where you can eat comfortably with a familiar menu and reasonable prices. I would like to visit again at any time.
3.5 rounded up HIGHLIGHTS: -breakfast club sandwich with no tomatoes is one of the best things I've had! It's cheesy (2 types of cheese), savory from the ham and bacon, hearty from the over hard eggs, and crunchy from the Parmesan crust on sourdough bread! -our waiter was friendly and what I consider great service to be -they have Tabasco and cholula upon request -private parking lot -Christmas decorated bears and merch! LOW LIGHTS: -hash browns were my least favorite here. They didn't have much of a potato taste and I wonder if they use powdered potato and cut them into this shape?? -coffee tasted like an ashtray. I usually expect and like a cup like this once in a while, especially at diners but this one was quite strong in the ashtray aftertaste department
